Tom Darley - Psychosocial Recovery Coach, and Founder

Not much of a reader? Check out the podcast episode below where I talk about psychosis & the mental health system - but also talk about myself a bit, how I found my way into psychosocial recovery, and what a psychosocial recovery coach does.

If you skipped the video - I’m Tom, the face behind Chameleon Psychosocial Recovery.

I discovered a passion for working in the psychosocial recovery space before the NDIS made it a ‘thing’ in 2020. Having faced my own mental health challenges throughout life, I always knew I wanted to work with mental health in some capacity.

Studying psychology at uni only solidified that, and getting to work with people diagnosed with psychosocial disabilities in various roles over my years in the disability support sector helped me to identify where my skills would be most useful.

Aside from the technical stuff, I’ve found one of the most important skills is adaptability. The recovery journey is a very individual thing, and the people I work with all have different goals, interests, strengths. and barriers. So at Chameleon Psychosocial Recovery, I make sure to adjust the support according to the situation (hence the name)

If you’re keen to know more about what I do - or just to have a chat - feel free to reach out on the contact info below, or drop a 5-minute referral through at the top of page.
